PC Field Service Technician (UT) #2243 – Salt Lake City, Utah

Job Description
Our client is looking to hire a self-motivated and experienced IT - PC Field Tech for hardware, software and network support person to join the team in the Salt Lake City, UT service area. This is a permanent full time position with excellent benefits and a company vehicle. This is a salaried position plus time and a half for overtime work.
Once selected, the person will be required to spend up to one month in Kansas for training (paid time) prior to assuming responsibility for the region.
Company vehicle provided and a relatively clean driving record will be needed along with a successful background check.
TRAVEL: As the IT - PC Field Technician you will have up to 100% regional day and some requiring lodging overnight travel
Knowledge & Experience
- PC Hardware, software and network support
- Preferably some field service experience
- POS system experience, preferably NCR
- Experience in pulling and terminating Cat5 cable is a plus
Education & Experience Required
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Day to Day Operations of a Field Tech including traveling to perform servicing, repairing, and maintaining all equipment in our stores.
- Test computers, peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working at 100% functionality.
- Act as a technical resource to assist users with resolving computer issues.
Travel
100% travel/Company Car (Regional day & some nights)
