This is a contract to hire 12+ months position.
Job Description
IntegriSource is working with a Tallahassee employer who is looking for an experienced Lead Data Analyst (3-5 years/experience) to build, optimize and maintain conceptual and logical database models and actively support Node.js developers, which includes maintaining coding standards and working on complex requirements.
This project will run 12+ months on a contract basis with the potential to turn into a permanent hire. The work will be on-site in Tallahassee, FL. Remote work is not available for this position.
Knowledge & Experience
For this role, qualified candidates must have/know:
- 3-5 years of proven work experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
- how to analyze system requirements and implement migration methods for existing data.
- hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL, JavaScript, and Node.js.
- be familiar with predictive analysis and data visualization techniques.
- strong organizational, leadership, and coaching skills
- in-depth understanding of database structure principles
- experience gathering and analyzing system requirements
- hands-on experience with database standards and end user applications
- experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- experience with JavaScript and Node.js
- familiarity with programming languages API
Duties & Responsibilities
- Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications
- Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions
- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
- Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting and integrating new elements
- Optimize new and current database systems
- Interface with clients at executive level and team level
- Manage to deadlines and complete individual and teams work within fixed price estimates.
