Technical Support Specialist – Tallahassee, Florida
This is a contract to hire 6 months position.
Job Description
IntegriSource has partnered with a top Tallahassee employer who has an immediate need to add a Technical Support Specialist (Level 1). The successful candidate will be responsible for the front-line support of customers and troubleshooting a variety of technical and non-technical issues.
The position is a contract (6 months) to hire position and selected candidate must be willing to work onsite at their Tallahassee offices after the 6-month contract. Competitive salary and excellent benefits. You must be able to work an after-hours rotating on-call shift.
We are looking for candidates with the following:
Education: Minimum associate degree in information technology or in a discipline related to such or equivalent job experience.
Experience:
- Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems, SQL, TCP/IP communication and Web/Wireless technologies.
- Experience with documenting procedures in a call tracking system and the ability to troubleshoot and articulate technical procedures as needed.
Note: prior to hire, applicants must pass a FBI Criminal Background investigation and credit check.
