Node.js/Typescript Developer (AWS) - REMOTE – Mid-Atlantic Region

IntegriSource has partnered with a nationwide consulting company who has an immediate need to add a Typescript Developer (AWS) to their team. This is a 3–6-month contract assignment with a possible extension. The selected candidate can work on a 100% remote basis.
Description:
Our client is adding a qualified Node.js developer (TypeScript) to their team of developers to build an entirely new framework of microservices to support their business processes enabling automation within domains ranging from service activation to billing to inventory and beyond. The overall project is corporate-wide with additional individual projects that will be assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Node.js RESTful service development with TypeScript following defined standards. Services will range from complex technical processes to smaller service brokers and DAL.
- Developing microservices to their backend systems within AWS
- This will almost exclusively be new development plus interface with legacy systems/processes to provide iterative production.
- Documentation supporting services and deployment, functionality discovery, API design.
- Restructuring data and translations to the back-end system to retrofit as well as support the newer applications that they are looking to develop
- Primary development will be within the Middleware layer
- GitHub is used for source control
