SQL Data Migration Developer – 100% Remote
This is a contract to hire 12 months position.
Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity with our client, a nationwide IT Consulting company, who has an immediate need for a SQL Data Migration Developers. The successful candidates will be contributing to data analysis and migration strategy.
- This is a 12-month contract role with an opportunity for hire after 12 months. Sponsorship is NOT available for this role (US citizen or Green Card).
- 100% Remote work environment – must reside in United States.
Education
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar field or comparable related experience.
Requirements:
Candidates should have a background in the following:
- Understanding of ETL concepts
- Strong
SQL database skills
- Writing complex queries and database views
- Previous experience with data migrations
- Performance tuning for queries
- Data analysis & reverse engineering
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred (and helpful for the role)
- Java (Core and enterprise) or .Net or C++
- Programming background with Node.js / JavaScript and other object-oriented languages.
