Alarm Service Technician - Tampa – Tallahassee, Florida

Job Description
We have partnered with a Florida based fire/alarm installation/service company who is adding an Alarm Service Technician to their team to work out of their Tampa area (up to 50 miles). This is a fulltime role with excellent benefits, a competitive salary, and employer provided vehicle and cell phone. Overtime options are also available. This position will also be part of the after-hours on-call rotation.
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Must have flexibility to travel and work overtime when needed.
- Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Suite (intermediate Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- IT and networking experience is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills.
Preferred Requirements
- 1+ year of experience with the fire systems.
- 1+ year of experience in low voltage wiring.
- Technical school training and/or certification.
- Current BASA/FASA certification and/or willingness to obtain.
Position Responsibilities
- Service, repair and install all systems.
- Test and repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications.
- Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details.
