Accounting Clerk (AR/AP) – Tallahassee, Florida

Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Accounting Clerk to work with our partner client in the professional services industry. This is a fulltime (Monday to Friday - regular business hours) and onsite role at their offices in Tallahassee, FL.
General qualifications
- The ideal candidate is someone with a strong interest in finance/bookkeeping.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) as they will be working with all levels of employees from leadership to peers.
- Confidentiality on all matters is required.
- The ideal candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, expense management software, as well as have the interest/ability to learn new technologies.
Required Experience
Our clients require a minimum of 2 years of experience with the following:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Record cash receipts A/R follow up
- Scan checks and attach to cash disbursements
- Create files from payable e-mail
- Review recurring payables Request and file W-9s
- Assist in preparing documentation for 1099s
- Request ACH info from vendors
- Resend invoices as requested
- Manage finance e-mail flagging items for team member follow up and responding to requests for invoices, W-9s, contact updates, etc.
- Maintain/update fiscal forms (mileage rate, W-9s)
