Application Development Manager – Tallahassee, Florida

We have an amazing career opportunity with our client (healthcare or insurance industry), who is adding an Application Development Manager to their team. This is an onsite position located in Tallahassee, Fl.

In this role, the Application Development Manager oversees and coordinates all aspects of designing, developing, and implementing software, applications, reporting solutions, data warehousing, data extracts, vendor data feeds, and data imports. They lead development teams on regulatory projects and work with stakeholders, including Directors and Senior/VPs, to establish plans, milestones, and deliverables.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience (business and programming).
• Three (3+) years of management experience in an IT environment.
• Three (3+) years of SQL along with stored procedures.
• Three (3+) years of implementation of API for data exchange.
• Three (3+) years of experience with .NET and ASP classic applications
• Business acumen also needed as this position will interact with other managers and senior executives.
• Healthcare or Insurance business experience is highly desired.
