IntegriSource has partnered with a Tallahassee based client who has an immediate need to add an Accounts Receivable Accountant to their growing team in Tallahassee, Florida. You will be responsible for various functions within the finance department accounts receivable division to include processing and recording of revenue and cash receipts. This position will also assist with other various accounts receivable and revenue accounting and reporting functions within their finance department.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration or other related field.
- Minimum of one (1) year of accounting experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for the end of day closeout process.
- Serve as a backup to the front desk administrative assistant as necessary.
- Responsible for managing/coordinating the input of transactions into the accounts receivable module.
- Assist the other accountants within the accounts receivable division in the reconciliation of cash receipts from all revenue sources against bank statements and make necessary reconciling entries.
- Prepare and inputs reconciling items for bank reconciliations.
- Assist the other accountants within the accounts receivable division in coordinating activities associated with non-sufficient funds checks.
- Assist the accounts receivable manager in managing the escrow accounts and with any applicable financial reporting requirements.
- Research and respond to revenue/cash receipt related inquiries and issues in a professional manner;
- Monitor/Reconcile various general ledger funds.
- Assist in the preparation of year end revenue related audit and CAFR schedules.
- Research, analyze and understand applicable Florida Statutes, GASB and operational accounting policies and procedures.
- Processes receipt of customers checks; prepare bank deposits; enter transactions into a financial system and or database.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform payroll functions;
- Analyze and ensure that all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely;
- Reconcile payroll prior its transmission and validate confirmed reports;
- Perform timesheet process and evaluate for errors or missing data;
- Prepare accurate quarterly and year-end reporting when necessary (i.e.: 941’s, W-2, W-2C, etc.) according to prescribed deadlines;
- Research and respond to payroll related inquiries and issues in a professional manner;
- Assist in the accurate preparation and processing of payroll related state, federal managements reports. This includes: State of Florida Retirement System, Unemployment Compensation, etc.
- Ensure that all payroll deductions are disbursed in a timely manner and related files are submitted;
- Assist with returned check processing, over-payment calculations and notifications, payroll adjustments and collections;
- Assist in processing garnishments to include correct calculation and compliance;
- Summarize and remit payroll taxes, including federal, Social Security and Medicare withholdings;
- Calculate, track and process the salaries and wages and deductions payable to employees to include: retroactive pay, over-time, bonuses, leave(s) without pay, benefit deductions, etc.;
- Use accounting software to complete payroll transactions;
- Maintain internal controls in place;
- Assure confidentiality and security of payroll records and information;
- Assist in compliance with payroll laws and regulations;
- Assist in the processing of manual checks when needed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

o Bachelors from a four (4) year college or university can substitute for two years of work experience and the Associates degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive telephone calls, ascertain the nature of the call and direct phone call to the appropriate staff/department.
- Greet guests and provide general support to customers, vendors, and guests as they arrive in the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Open, date and time-stamp, sort, and disburse incoming and delivered mail.
- Processes receipt of customers checks; prepare bank deposits; enter transactions into a financial system and or database.
- Assist with basic accounting clerical functions.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties such as filing, copying, and updating and scheduling meetings at the direction of department management.
- Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipate needed supplies; coordinate and order office supplies and equipment; verify receipt of supplies.
- Prepare and organize all staff travel.
- Assist in year-end organization and distribution of the CAFR.
