Job Description

IntegriSource has partnered with a top-ranked regional accounting firm who has an immediate need to add a Billing Specialist to their growing administrative team in Florida. This will be a contract opportunity and the work will be onsite at their Tallahassee, FL office location.

Candidates with billing experience within the professional services industry will be given preference.

OUR CLIENT IS NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH A MEDICAL BILLING BACKGROUND.

Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred
    • Five (5) years of experience in consulting style billing, accounts receivable, collections, and/or general bookkeeping. Experience working in a professional services firm would be helpful for this role.
    • Highly proficient with Excel, Word, Adobe, and Outlook
    • Experience with time and billing software

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Preparation of consulting style invoices, including evaluating and interpreting WIP, billing reports, and invoice instructions.
    • Clarifying and utilizing service codes and various software billing methods.
    • Creating calculation sheets and adjusting invoices based on realization rates.
    • Differentiating and preparing various service style invoices.
    • Assemble, prepare, and scan large bank deposits and prepare related cash receipts report for management.
    • Follow-up on accounts receivable matters, including reviewing and interpreting A/R
    • Reports.
    • Determining necessary collections action, preparation and submission of past due invoices and A/R statements, initiating collection phone calls, follow-up correspondence with clients and management, and documenting collection actions.

IntegriSource has partnered with a Tallahassee based client who has an immediate need to add an Internal Auditor to their growing team in Florida. In this role, the Internal Auditor is responsible for assisting in the review and appraisal of operations to determine the adequacy of internal controls, compliance with laws, rules and regulations, and to assure the reliability, accuracy, and completeness of financial records.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • Education: Bachelors’ degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or other related degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Certification and license: Certified internal auditors (CIA), and/or certified public accountants (CPA) are highly desirable.

Experience: Up to two years of experience in internal/external auditing (governmental preferred), professional accounting, governmental fiscal administration or related experience desired.


This position is onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.

In this role the selected candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Tax preparation, preparation of financial statements, reconcile subsidiary ledgers to control accounts, prepare depreciation schedules, reconcile bank accounts, analyze accruals.

EDUCATION & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in accounting, finance, or related field

• CPA or CPA eligible

• 3-5 years of recent tax services experience in public accounting

• Experience preparing corporate, individual, partnership, or fiduciary returns.

• General ledger accounting expertise.

• Expertise in QuickBooks

• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills

• Strong attention to detail.

• Proven experience as an accountant.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Supervising, reviewing, and assisting with training staff level team members.
