Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Applications Architect (5+ years) to work with our partner client. This is a 4-6-month contract opportunity and the selected candidate can work on a remote basis but must reside in the United States in the eastern or central time zone.

Purpose and Scope:

  • The software applications architect will scope, identify and suggest the technology stack and infrastructure needed to perform remote push notifications to Android and iOS applications even when they are not open.
  • Both apps should look the same regardless of which type of phone. They would create and use a dashboard to schedule and push out the messages so it is under one interface. Architect should have experience setting up dashboards.
  • This system will be used for future applications as they are developed as a plug-n-play feature that can be bolted on.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and four years of experience or a combination of appropriate post high school education and experience equal to 5-7 years.

Required Technical Qualifications/Responsibilities:

Candidates must have five plus (5+) years of recent/current experience working as a Software Applications Architect to do the following:

  • To scope, identify, and create a technology stack and infrastructure needed to perform remote push notifications to Android and iOS systems.

We are working with our client who is searching for an Applications Programmer to add to their team. This is a six-month contract to hire role and the work location is at their offices located in Wayne, MI.

This position will provide programming and technical support for applications on administrative educational systems.
