Job Description

We are working with our client who is searching for an Applications Programmer to add to their team. This is a six-month contract to hire role and the work location is at their offices located in Wayne, MI.

This position will provide programming and technical support for applications on administrative educational systems.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Participate with project teams to develop administrative software applications
  • Test, install, debug and document administrative software applications
  • Write and document interfaces between client applications and purchased software packages
  • Provide problem solving services on application software to computer service consultants

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor Degree in technology related field or other equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Three (3+) years of work experience in application programming or database programming

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with applications on administrative educational systems.

Additional experience:

  • .NET, ASP or Visual Basic
  • T-SQL
  • SQL Server Reporting Services
  • XML

We have an amazing career opportunity with our client, a global manufacturing company, who is adding a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Solutions Architect in Wichita, Kansas (tihs is an onsite role). The selected candidate will contribute to technical solution designs and implementation plans within the D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM) platform. To be successful in this role, the selected candidate will need to be able to create an overall technical vision for a specific solution to a business problem.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a two-year technical degree with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of three (3) years functional experience with all of the following:

o AX/D365 F&SCM,

o Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises),

o Dynamics 365 ERP;

o Finance/Order Management/Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Customer Engagement modules (Items, BOMs, etc.).

  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft cloud storage platforms including BYOD, Data Lake, and Synapse.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical solutions.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Functional knowledge of Azure DevOps change control process
  • Working knowledge in D365 F&SCM-related development tools including:

o X++,

o SSRS,

o Visual Studio,

o XML,

o C#, and

o SQL Server.

  • System administrator experience.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with the implementation project team and users to design and develop Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM/CE solutions
  • Work with developers in designing Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&SCM/CE solutions, reports, screens, and other Dynamics, Power Platform, or Azure services
  • Participate in impact assessments of requested changes in collaboration with Business Analysts, System Administrators, and Consultants
  • Modify D365 F&SCM/CE user interface and business logic based on established business requirements
  • Conduct debugging, unit testing, and integration testing of F&SCM/CE solutions and integrations
  • Maintain code via Azure DevOps source control, manage build and release pipelines via ADO, and oversee deployments via LCS
  • Translate functional requirements into technical designs, development tasks, and execute to implementation
  • Collaborate with IT team members to enhance D365 knowledge, improve consistency and methodologies for high-quality delivery processes

Responsibilities:

  • Install, maintain, and monitor server/storage systems (on-premise and cloud).
  • Ensure access and security for user data and systems.
  • Keep systems updated with patches/security updates.
  • Perform backups and ensure data recovery.
  • Use PowerShell, SQL, and scripting to automate tasks. Serve as backup to Network Administrator.
  • Conduct system maintenance after hours and provide after-hours support as needed.
